History of Cuban Rejects

Cuban Rejects is a term used for cigars that didn't meet the standard quality established by Cuban manufacturers. These cigars could have flaws in their construction or be too rough to pass through the careful inspection procedures that are imposed on every premium cigar. Even though they were considered rejects, many smokers still preferred them because these rejected cigars offered a rich aroma and flavor profile.

The little-known fact is that there weren't any official ‘Cuban Rejects,’ as such cigars were never officially produced by Cuba's cigar industry. Instead, when these "imperfect" products reached the factory floor after being rejected for quality control reasons. As these high-quality tobacco leaves couldn't go unused before expiring; hence they found their way into people's hands via other routes.

One of those ways was through factories' workers who would manage to smuggle some home; another option was that less scrupulous distributors sold them under different brand names as if they had passed strict quality control protocols.

Similarly, a little known fact is that during 1959 -1961 (which covers Fidel Castro’s rise to power), around 90% of Cigars produced in Havana got classified as reject goods due to inconsistencies in color and unevenness which arose from dramatic changes such as frequent strikes at cigar factories amongst other things happened during this period.

Despite not being an official product or wide-spread availability given its irregular production flow & channels of distribution mechanisms; it did not stop aficionados from seeking out these unique flavorsome smokes rarely available through official channels for its enthusiasts.

In conclusion, Cuban Rejects don’t officially exist anymore since current exporting laws dictate restrictions towards unauthorized tobacco products coming out of Cuba. But those lucky enough to find one will enjoy excellent craftsmanship, unique aromatic aromas & flavor profiles rooted in traditional techniques used back when this peculiar classification existed originated!
